Greetings from the Masai Mara in Kenya! How Hairbrella Faced the Ultimate Test in the Maasai Mara Sun!
Hello Hairbrella Family,
I'm buzzing with excitement as I pen down this edition of Founder Friday, all the way from the breathtaking Maasai Mara in Kenya! This marks my inaugural journey to the African continent, a dream turned reality thanks to my dear friend and fellow entrepreneur, Brandon Campbell of Extended Family. Our paths crossed years back, bonded over our transition from law to entrepreneurship and our shared belief in the power of the law of attraction to manifest the lives we dream of.
This trip has been nothing short of magical, allowing me the privilege to both explore and work from Nairobi, Maasai Mara, and the enchanting Lamu, in the company of some of the most inspiring entrepreneurs I know. Their insights and feedback on Hairbrella have been incredibly valuable, sparking exciting ideas for our future. (Stay tuned for some sneak peeks!)
One of the highlights of this adventure was putting the Hairbrella Sun Hat to the ultimate test under the relentless Maasai Mara sun.
The drives through the camp are long and the terrain, rugged. I've always been committed to ensuring our products stand out, but witnessing firsthand the difference they make in such extreme conditions was a revelation. My only oversight? Not packing an XL size for the gentlemen on the trip.
For those who've never considered an African safari, I can't recommend it enough. It's an experience that's both humbling and awe-inspiring, made even more special by sharing it with fellow dreamers and doers, all while donning a piece of my very own creation.
