Founder Friday: The Rule I Don’t Break 🕐 My therapist made it mandatory. No rain. No cold. No excuses.
Hi Hairbrella Family!
Cold Weather Wont Stop Me. Here's Why.
Almost every day around 1PM, the brain fog rolls in. Deep work is done. Initial team huddles are wrapped. The clarity starts to dip.
Years ago during the pandemic, I told my therapist how stressed and heavy I had been feeling. Her prescription was simple: two 20-minute walks a day. The second is optional. The first is not.
Then she said, “You own a rain hat company. You have no excuse.”
She was right.
That first walk resets my nervous system and sharpens my thinking. Some of Hairbrella’s best ideas were made mid-stride.
Now if you know me, you know I cannot stand being cold. So I created solutions to solve that problem precisely.
Our beanie is by far the warmest I’ve ever owned — and trust me, I tried dozens before creating one that truly gets the job done.
The Rain Jacket is fully waterproof, which means it traps body heat without bulk.
And when we’re below freezing? I layer the Rain Scarf around my neck and face to block the wind completely.
Because the forecast will always try to negotiate with your discipline. Too cold. Might rain. Hair might frizz.
Not for me.
At 1PM, I layer up and step outside. Fearless in any forecast.
If walking — or whatever your reset is — keeps you sharp, remove one more barrier.
